How Do I Get A Divorce?

The divorce process has now been streamlined and there is no need to blame your spouse for the breakdown of the marriage.

The process can be started using the Court’s bespoke online divorce portal.

The Divorce, Dissolution & Separation Act 2020 came into effect 6th April 2022 as such, a spouse wishing to commence a divorce will simply need to state that the marriage has broken down irretrievably.
