Poonam is a Senior Associate with the practice. She is empathetic to her clients and attempts to reach a fair resolution where possible.
Poonam studied at the University of Leicester and gained her LLB (International) Law and thereafter studied at Nottingham Law School for her LPC. Poonam gained experience in Family Law at a high street firm in Leicestershire and has remained local to the area. Poonam qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has represented clients from all over the UK.
Poonam is Resolution Accredited in cases relating to Domestic Abuse and Private Law Children Act proceedings. She has a particular interest in complex Children Act proceedings. Poonam has experience in dealing with financial remedy work, seeking to achieve a fair settlement through negotiation, rather than litigation. Poonam has experience in a broad range of Family Law matters including cohabitation, separation, Pre and Post-Nuptial Agreements and Pet disputes.
